The Ice Sculpture Festival will take place at Flevo Nice, Strandgaperweg 20, 8256 PZ Biddinghuizen.

The festival can be enjoyed from 14 December 2024 to 2 March 2025.The Dutch Ice Sculpture Festival is open from Tuesday to Sunday every week. During school holidays, we are open every day, including Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Join us for a cozy winter outing!

  • Weekends: Open from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Christmas Holidays: Open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Weekdays outside holidays: Open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • New Year’s Day (January 1): Closed

Coming by car?
No need to worry about parking – there’s plenty of space. Parking costs €5 for the whole day.

Prefer public transport?
Travel to Harderwijk Station or Dronten Station and take bus 147 to the Bremerbergweg Festival stop. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the exclusive Ice Sculpture Shuttle Bus will take you from Bremerbergweg to the festival grounds and back. No need to worry about parking or traffic—you’ll arrive comfortably and hassle-free. Easy, right?

During the Christmas holidays, the shuttle runs every day, except on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We are open on those days, though!

Absolutely! Your faithful four-legged friend is welcome to join you in enjoying the magical ice art. This also applies, of course, to assistance and guide dogs.

Yes, absolutely! In the ice hall, it’s around -10 degrees, so it’s quite cold. We recommend dressing warmly and bringing your hat and gloves. Afterwards, you can warm up with a delicious hot chocolate (or something else tasty) in our restaurant.

We recommend purchasing your time-slot tickets online in advance—this way, you can avoid disappointment at the door. In our webshop, you can easily choose your ideal day and time.

Decided to come last minute? At the self-service kiosks on the festival grounds, you can only get tickets for times that are not fully booked. We will do our best to accommodate you at your chosen time, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee it.

Fortunately, no! We can easily scan the barcode or QR code from your phone. Printing is not necessary. Just make sure that the brightness of your phone’s screen is high enough so we can scan the code easily.

Yes, the Dutch Ice Sculpture Festival is fully accessible for visitors with disabilities. Companions of wheelchair users do not need to pay for entry. Additionally, there are special parking spaces for visitors with disabilities, and wheelchairs are available at the event. No, it is not allowed to bring your own food and drinks to the festival. But don’t worry, there are plenty of delicious options available here!

Yes, of course! There are changing tables available in the restrooms, so you can change your little one comfortably.

A stroll through the ice hall takes about 45 to 60 minutes, but take your time—your ticket allows you to go back in for a second lap! And if you find the cold is getting to you, you can warm up in our cozy restaurant with a hot chocolate. So you get to decide how long you want to enjoy the icy beauty—just make sure to keep nice and warm!
